Description

Features the comedy films BARBERSHOP BEAUTY SHOP and TAXI. In BARBERSHOP Calvin is handed the family barber shop and isnt impressed. He makes plans to sell the shop to a local criminal called Lester. Calvins wife is not happy with his decision to sell and persuades him to spend a day in the barber shop getting to know what happens there. At the end of the day Calvin realises the importance of the shop upon the local community and sets out to get of the deal he has made. In BEAUTY SHOP Gina quits her job at a beauty salon and decides to get a place of her own securing a loan with some resourceful tactics. Situated squarely in the ghetto and featuring a revolving cast of eccentric characters the shops quirky employees provide a constant stream of witty banter. In TAXI Washburn is a truly pathetic New York City cop who cant seem to wake up in the morning without bumbling busts and breaking whatever he touches. After his most recent debacle his boss and former flame Lieutenant Marta Robbins revoked his license. Belle is about to fulfil a lifelong dream of becoming a cab driver. When Fallon commandeers Belles services after hearing of a nearby bank robbery a partnership is formed. Unfortunately even when he means well Washburn is nothing but trouble. Against her better judgment Belle finds herself doing what she can to help out the pitiful Washburn even though the bank robbers are several steps ahead of the game.
