Description
The plight of the flightless bird, as it struggles to survive and procreate, has never been so funny, or obscene, as in the irreverent mockumentary FARCE OF THE PENGUINS. Written and directed by Bob Saget, and featuring a veritable whos who of comic vocal talent, the film is an obvious spoof of the critically-acclaimed MARCH OF THE PENGUINS (a rare bird in the documentary genre; not only did it win an Oscar, but it also made close to $80 million at the US box office). FARCE tells the story of one birds search for love while on a 70 mile trek across Antarctica with his hedonistic buddies. But make no mistake about it; this is not some cutesy avian romp – its full-on risque humour, and the only thing bluer than the filmmakers frozen appendages, is the penguins raucous dialogue!
