What can i say about this classic movie. Well its 100 times better on blu ray than dvd. The picture is rich and colourful especially the flames and the desert which has never been so bright and colourful before until now. Its so bright and rich you have to turn your eyes away. The dark scenes are also visible and strong compared to dvd where you can hardly see a thing in the darkness. Which takes me to the sound. You can characters walking on broken glass, items clicking, people punching, but the best has to be the bugs running across the floor, just superb. So far its the best film on blu ray for colour and sound so far. If you love adventure films like indiana jones then you will love this. If you already own the dvd version like myself, then change it to blu ray and buy this one and you will agree how brilliant the transfer is and be glad you had bought it. The mummy rules hands down.
