Description

This gentle comedy is an amusingly paranoid look at how relationships can be stretched to the breaking point when pranks spiral out of control. When Alice Holbrook (Jennifer Love Hewitt) receives a Valentine card she assumes its from her husband Sam (Jimi Mistry) and sends a card back to him. But what Alice doesnt know is that the card is actually from Sams best friend Archie Gray (Dougray Scott) who harbours a secret crush on her. But things get really wild when Sam receives Alices card and thinks its from another woman. Deciding to test her husband when he doesnt tell her hes received a card Alice enters into a dangerous game with him as she pretends to be the other woman. Some wacky scenes ensue and THE TRUTH ABOUT LOVE should find an audience among fans of similar fare such as YOUVE GOT MAIL and BRIDGET JONES DIARY.
