Rumours have been rife amongst TV industry sources for some time, but today
it can be confirmed that Buzz, the enigmatic and debonair host of Buzz!TM:
The Music Quiz has signed a new contract with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe
(SCEE).
Buzz will be fronting a new game show called Buzz!TM:
The BIG Quiz which builds on the huge success of his famous music show as it
seeks to push contestants to the limit. This time the questions could be on
anything, with picture, audio and video clips covering subjects from film and
sport through to music and Buzzs own brand of crazy general knowledge. And of
course therell be plenty of questions about Buzzs celebrity friends!
The host himself did his best to hide his excitement when our interviewer
cornered him. He modestly commented: 'After the success of my
groundbreaking new format show Buzz!: The Music Quiz, I knew that SCEE would
soon be back knocking at my door. I have of course had other offers but am
delighted to stay with my friends at SCEE... of course this is about more than
money, its about giving full flow to my creative genius!'
The new series extends the format of Buzzs first show and cranks up the tension
by giving contestants more chances to steal points from each another... so make
sure you watch your back in new rounds like Hitman, as well as returning
favourites like Pass the Bomb. Buzzs new studio also has room for up to eight
players, so contestants from Buzz!: The Music Quiz can enjoy the ultimate Quiz
show experience!
SCEE insiders are also set to announce that Buzzs glamorous assistant Rose will
be making a return to our screens despite tabloid rumours that threatened to end
her promising career. With a bigger smile and a new dress, Rose remains the
ultimate gameshow babe!
