The ancient world of the Dynasty Warriors series and the Japanese-influenced future of the Gundam anime couldn’t be further apart from each other, yet by taking the core gameplay elements of Dynasty Warriors and placing them into Gundam world, a unique style of tactical fighter has been created. Dynasty Warriors – Gundam 2 continues with this blend of styles, once more placing players into the huge tactical armour of a Mobile Suit to do battle with enemies in the far reaches of space.
The scale of the Gundam series is far more apparent in Koei’s sequel, pitting players against huge, looming enemies such as Psycho Gundam, which can alter its shape and transform into huge fortresses that dominate the skyline. As players collect Gundam parts throughout each level they’ll be able to construct and alter Mobile Suits for use in battle.
By blending two popular series’ into one game, Dynasty Warriors – Gundam 2 has created a title with the subtle tactics of the Dynasty Warrior titles, but with the style and immense scale of the popular anime.
