| | Apple Airport Extreme Card - Network adapter - 802.11g | |
Description
Apple's AirPort Extreme wireless networking products let you surf the Internet from almost anywhere in your home or business, and enable schools to provide Internet access to multiple students without installing expensive cabling. With AirPort Extreme-enabled Macintosh systems, it's a snap to exchange files or play multiplayer games at data transfer rates of up to 54 megabits per second. AirPort Extreme uses a brand new wireless standard called 802.11g. And because AirPort Extreme uses radio waves for communication, it can even work through walls.
Add an internal AirPort Extreme Card for each AirPort Extreme-ready system you want to bring onto a wireless network. This will allow you to join any of the thousands of Wi-Fi certified 802.11b wireless hot spots that are currently running in coffeehouse, bookstores, airports, and even some restaurants.
