I recently bought the blu ray version of die hard 4.0 because i loved it on dvd and when i started watching it on blu ray i was blown away. It was hard for me to concentrate on the film itself becuase i was listening for all the clear sounds of items and objects coming through so clear, i couldnt believe it. Compared to dvd the action sounds are superb along with loose bits of slamming of doors, walking on broken things, explosions which were also brilliant and a massive improvement over dvd. Not everyone has bought blu ray yet and so likes dvd compared to vhs, i was one of those people who stuck to dvd but as blu ray disks have come down cheaper recently plus blu ray players are under £100, i decided to change my old way of thinking dvd and bought blu ray. Im glad i did becuase this version is so superb in picture and sound quality you just wished you to chose it a year ago. There's also plenty of extras which you don't get on dvd. The making is at least over an hour long but split into featureettes, but at least you get alot of makings and interviews, which is another reason why you have to buy this blu ray disk. Its pure action all the way and much much better on blu ray. You wont regret buying this when you see the comparison. Im glad i bought mine.
