Description

Victor Hugos classic story of triumph of good over evil which is set in France in 1796. Jean Valjean is sent to prison for five years for stealing a loaf of bread. In prison the Inspector Of Guards Javert takes an intense dislike to Jean and finds every reason to punish him and increase the term of his sentence.
