Doesn't protect usb connector
I've used the previous version of this flash drive for years, and it still hasn't broken. I was expecting similar quality for this, although if the G2 means "generation 2", I'm confused why the specs haven't improved. It might be capless, but there's no lock to keep the cover in place when it's slid down over the USB connector. This essentially means that it hardly ever stays covered, leaving the connector unprotected. I worry that it's likely to break fairly quickly, unlike its predecessor. Better to try the DataTraveler 101 or DataTraveler (Generation 3) - both currently look to be available for the same price, but look like they actually protect the connector.
Performance-wise, it's fine. No improvement I can notice over the years-old version, but I didn't really need more speed.
