Having bought this game a while back now, and having spent hours upon hour exploring the game world and following the quests, i have to say it it a worthy sequel to Oblivion. For those who played this prequel, you will find this game very similar, as far as controls and mechanics go.

Inventory, skills and spells access is the only thing that is new, and thus a little hard to grasp at first. But after an hour of playing, it becomes easy enough. A nice addition is the ability to favorite an item. If it is equipable or usable a simple press of the Q button will pause the game and bring up a list of all favorite items. This allows you to fast swap during combat.

The game itself has a very compelling main quest, as well as numerous side quests that are enough to keep you occupied. The game world is massive, and full of diverse creatures that you can hunt for ingredients. There is also mining, caves to explore, ruins, etc. Craft your own armor, weapons and enchant them with deadly effects. A powerful graphics engine brings to life creatures and environment alike, with stunning scenery unraveling at your feet, from grasslands to snowy mountains.

Face off against dragons and travel the world in search of the reason for their return, or put the dragons on hold, and go exploring the vast world, clearing out bandit camps and claiming their bounties while you increase your skills. The choice is yours. You can even get married in this game, own a house, and live together with your beloved.

This game comes with a paperback map imitating the one in the game. It is a very handy and cool thing to have. It, unfortunately, only contains the locations of the main town and small villages. Everything else has to be filled in and marked by the player. Or if you prefer not to tarnish the map, the locations you discover will be added to the in game map for fast travel, or way point reference.

All in all, I highly advise this game for the fans of the RPG genre.
