Description
Bring the pain online in your very own mechanised titan of war. Armoured
combat has never been this intense.
Developed by Tokyo-based FROM software - the creative team responsible
for the popular Armored Core and Otogi series - CHROMEHOUNDS offers an
intense, photo realistic look at war from the cockpits of colossal metal
vehicles. These heavily-armed weapons of war, called HOUNDS, dominate
ground battles during warfare in the near-future. Squads of HOUNDs take
to the field in international factions; cooperating with and
complementing each other in terms of firepower, range of movement, and
abilities.
Domination of the world is the prize for the mightiest army on the
field. Strategic planning, snap reflexes and communication are key to
winning the day in this battle-hardened action title. Players will take
the role of either a Squad Member or a Tactics Commander, who is
responsible for strategically guiding the team to victory with verbal
commands on Xbox Live.
The world has descended into brutal, perpetual war. Where political
dynasties had once held sway, military empires have risen to take power
by overwhelming force. Remaining political regimes now desperately
strive to maintain their diminishing influence, their focus shifting to
territorial expansion and an urgent new arms race. Entire societies are
steeling themselves in anticipation of the terrible war to come.
The key product of the arms race is a revolutionary, terrifying weapon:
the HOUNDs. Monstrous battle machines deployed to the global battlefield
by every warring nation, HOUNDs have fundamentally changed the nature of
warfare. Squads of HOUNDs take to the field in teams, cooperating with
and complementing each other in terms of firepower, range of movement
and abilities. Nothing can stand in their path.
Marking a long-awaited collaboration between SEGA and FromSoftware,
Chromehounds will bring mechanized combat on an unprecedented scale to
the Xbox 360. Hit Xbox Live with up to 12 others in fully customized
HOUNDs, battling each other or teaming up to achieve hard-fought
