Lavish and original tale of the legendary vampire
Extravagant production with Oldman taking his interpretation to the extreme with mannerisms and accent. I liked it. The film takes time to give a deeper insight into the legend, and even gives the Count a sympathetic hearing. Lots of action for those who just want entertainment. Reeves and Hopkins are great supporting actors.
